​ABOUT US​
SPARC SCHOLARS was created to provide scholarships to youth who display a passion – whether in athletics, the arts or other areas – as well as a commitment to succeed academically.

Those applying don’t need to be academic superstars, but rather youth who are enthusiastic about their pursuits and are trying their hardest and doing their best academically.
The scholarship awards are intended to enable rising 6th – 12th grade students attend private schools within the Washington DC Metropolitan Region. Scholarship awards of up to $7,500 are available and are intended to help bridge the gap between the tuition cost and the financial aid received from the school or other sources.
SPARC SCHOLARS is housed at The Community Foundation for the National Capital Region.
